Welcome to the Fort Belknap College's Native American Vocational and Technical Education Program. the program is based upon team work and participation which enhances the program atmosphere, benefits the reservation, surrounding communities and provides a rewarding experience for the participants.

The NAVTEP objectives specifically meet the needs of the Fort Belknap Indian Comunity by providing comprehensive vocational and technical education services to the members of the Assiniboine and Gros Ventre Tribes. One of the goals is to improve training oportunities that meet current employment demands and to enhance the employability of the participants.

Career Awareness Program

Job placement and related career guidance services

Up to $800.00 per quarter in stipend

$50.00 per month for Transportaion/Child Care

$200.0 per Semester for Books/Supplies

50% of Tuition and Fees






















Located in the Red Whip Center, NAVTEP Program employees work to provide services and ensure the smoloth operation of the program:

Stop by our offices and check us out, we are open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Counselor available during noon hour.

Applications can be picked up at the NAVTEP Counselor's Office in the Red Whip Center.

Our Private Sector Council/Advisory Board established to provide programmatic recommendations and advice about how the Native American Vocational and Technical Education Program can better serve our community.

Fort Belknap College

The mission of Fort Belknap College is to provide quality post-secondary education for residents of the Fort Belknap Indian Reservation and surrounding commuinties. The college will help individuals improve their lives by offering them an opportunity to maintain the cultural integrity of the Gros Ventre and Assiniboine Tribes as well as succeed in an American technological society.

The Native American Vocational and Technical Education Program (NAVTEP) located in the Red Whip Center, specifically meets the needs of the Fort Belknap Community by providing comprehensive vocational and technical education services.

NAVTEP also provides career awareness programs, career guidance and helps with job placement.
